Current Cafe & Lounge

Oceanside itself is a lesser known gem on the Oregon coast and likewise it has one in Current Cafe. With convenient hours and a warm ambience, the friendly staff and delicious food and drinks make it the “go to” place in this area. We enjoyed chowder, turkey/pesto sandwich, avocado/toast, granola yogurt bowl, breakfast croissant sandwich, and multiple cappuccino. Bonus: we lost a cell phone and they were empathetic and helpful (although we didn’t find it).

Went for espresso the first day and decided to add breakfast then returned for breakfast the following day. The coffee was hot, made well and they offer alternative milk options for no extra cost. We tried a breakfast burrito and they were kind about making mine in a bowl with some ingredient tweaks due to dietary restrictions. The food was hearty and healthy with a good portion size. We sat at one of their cafe tables on the sidewalk with our pup to enjoy the ocean view.We would come again and recommend!

The vibe is the greatest when you walk in you are greeted with smiles!! Made us feel very welcome and loved along with feeding us the best food we’ve had out here yet! We’re from out of state and Miss Wendy gave us the best advice on what to see here…and made the best coffee too! Thanks Tyler for the food it was amazing! Definitely would come here again! Not only is he the mastermind behind the delicious menu, but he also ensures that every customer feels like they’re part of the Currents family. This is a nice family owned cafe. The food was good. The service was great. Very friendly atmosphere. Great homemade clam chowder.

This was our first visit to the Current Cafe for my wife and I and it was exceptional. I had the breakfast burrito and she had the veggie burrito. We also had an oat milk latte. We took it back to our cabin and enjoyed every sip and every bite. It was so good that we went there again the next day for the same order. Again, it was so good. The service was also very friendly and we loved viewing the ocean while we waited for our food.

We loved our coffees! Had to grab one for the fridge to have the next day as we were leaving very early! Yummy food, super friendly staff:)It was spring break week and they were super busy! Thanks guys!!! We will be back again :)

Current Cafe catered our wedding in September and it was incredible! Everything from the appetizers to the main course was fantastic. The owners and staff are wonderful and so sweet. We even went back the next day to grab some coffee and that was also delicious. Great food, personable/fun staff, 10/10!
